The General Board Meeting to be held on the 23rd of October 2019

The RTNworld International Academy of Arts and Cultures will hold its 20th annual general board meeting on the 23rd of October 2019 asking all council members as well as all members with voting privileges to participate.

The meeting will be hosted from Santa Monica in California, United States of America with remotely connected participants from across the world.

A new Academy Director will be elected for the next upcoming 4 years. Participating members will also be asked to vote on a new structure within the organization. The general board meeting is expected to last for about 4 hours, including debates and voting procedures. Members who wish to participate in the voting are asked to register with the council until the 22nd of October 2019 latest by 3pm CET and to add subjects to the list below you’d like to be discussed at the council meeting. In order to keep the voting participation high throughout the meeting we ask participants to take notes of the presentations and debates of each voting subject. All voting will be carried out inside a time window, making it possible to leave the meeting earlier without affecting the voting procedure.

The following topics will be discussed:

  • Electing a new director of the academy replacing the current president of the organization, including presentations by applying members.
  • New structure of the organization
  • New Accreditation procedures and timelines of labels associated with corporate businesses.
  • Membership fees
  • New invitation procedure
  • Label and Award Guidelines and Procedures.

International registered participants will receive a participation link via email. All members are asked to keep the privacy standards within the board and refrain from inviting third party members to the meeting.

As per policy the current term of the president of the council ends on November 15th, 2019 at 3pm. If the new head of the academy does not gain the most votes in the second round the current head of the Academy remains in the office for an extended period of 2 months until the next election can be held. Changes in the organization structure requires full participation of members with voting privileges. The current head of the organization can decide to cancel the announced meeting on the meeting day if less voting participants show up or have registered for the meeting in advance than are required as per voting and full participation policy. Please note that information passed on in the meeting by all participating members are strictly confidential and cannot be mentioned or discussed outside the academy.
