Information Storage

We generally store information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it. Payment information will be stored for six (6) years for tax and accounting purposes in case you purchase anything via this website. This includes your name and email address of some which might be transferred to offline records for security reasons.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, Administrators and Site Managers can access:

When and why do we share Personal Information with third parties?

Personal information may also be shared with a company that acquires our business, whether through merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, reorganization, or other similar transaction or proceeding. It may also be shared with our professional advisors (lawyers, accountants etc) or with regulators and government authorities.

Email Enquiries

When you email or write to us then we retain that email or letter to allow sufficient time for your query to be dealt with. Once the matter has been concluded, emails and letters will be kept as long as required to keep proof for legal requirements and will be delete afterwards.

What do we do with your Personal Information when you terminate your relationship with us?

If an account remains inactive for one hundred and eighty (180) days then we may delete it from our system unless you contact us and request otherwise. You may also close the account you have with us at any time. To make an access, correction or closure request, please contact us using the contact details at the end of this policy.

We may also keep three (3) years rolling backups and log files of our systems (server logs and download logs) after which time they are deleted.

We will continue to store archived copies of your previous financial transactions for legitimate business purposes only and for a period of six (6) years to comply with our legal and financial requirements.

Note that any pending, failed or cancelled transactions are automatically deleted after a maximum of thirty (30) day period. Copies of these orders, because they have failed to be processed, are not stored beyond this thirty (30) day period.

What we don’t do with your personal information

We do not share, disclose, sell, rent, or otherwise provide personal information to other companies for the marketing of their own products or services.

We do not use the personal information we collect from you or your customers to contact or market to your customers or directly compete with you. However, RTNworld Academy of Arts and Cultures / RTNlist may contact or market to your customers if we obtain their information from another source, such as from the customers themselves.

 

Newsletter

If you subscribe to the newsletter, the data input to the form will be transmitted to the person responsible for processing. Registration for our newsletter takes place in a so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that after registration, you will receive an e-mail in which you will be asked to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that nobody can register on behalf of someone else’s e-mail address. When registering for the newsletter, the IP address of the user and the date and time of registration are saved. This serves to prevent misuse of the services or the e-mail address of the person concerned. The data will not be passed on to third parties. SECURITY MEASURES ADOPTED

This website has an SSL certificate and uses the HTTPS protocol to secure the moment your personal data is entered. By using this protocol, the transactions and the data transmission to the websites take place with maximum security and the content of the communication is not read or manipulated by third parties anyway.

reCAPTCHA

This website uses reCAPTCHA, a service subject to the privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and Google terms and conditions (https://policies.google.com/terms).

WORDFENCE SECURITY (Defiant, Inc)

To prevent cyberattacks and block suspicious users and IP addresses, this Website uses the Wordfence Security plugin, which installs a technical cookie (wfwaf-authcookie*) that helps determine if the user has suspicious characteristics. The Data Controller does not collect, store or share any personal data through this cookie. The data collected by this plugin is kept for 24 hours.

 

 

Description and purpose: The data you enter for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored on servers in the EU or country you selected in the registration process. If you do not wish to have your data analyzed by RTNworld Academy of Arts, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose, we provide a corresponding link in every newsletter message. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter directly on the website. Transmission to third countries: The data will not be transmitted outside the EU.

Duration: The data stored by you as part of the consent for the purpose of the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from our servers as well as from the servers after you have canceled the newsletter subscription. Data stored by us for other purposes (e.g. email addresses in the members’ area) remain unaffected.

Revocation option: You have the option to revoke your consent to data processing at any time with effect for the future. The legality of the data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation.

 

How do we keep your personal information secure?

While no online service is 100% secure, we work very hard to protect information about you against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction, and take reasonable measures to do so, such as monitoring our Services for potential vulnerabilities and attacks.

We follow industry standards on information security management to safeguard sensitive information, such as financial information, intellectual property and any other Personal Information entrusted to us. All personal information is stored in secure off site ‘zero knowledge’ locations. Our information security systems apply to people, processes and information technology systems on a risk management basis.

Data Access 

We, the website operator or website provider, collect data about access to the website on the basis of our legitimate interest (see Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. GDRP) and save these as “server log files” on the website server. The following data is logged in this way:

Use of payment service providers (payment services)

PayPal uses the result of the credit check in relation to the statistical probability of payment default for the purpose of deciding whether to provide the respective payment method. Stripe takes on a dual role as controller and processor in data processing activities. As the controller, Stripe uses your transmitted data to fulfill regulatory obligations.
